Electronic submission of requests for GATE testing for 2015-16 may be submitted between September 8 and November 20, 2015. Requests will not be accepted prior to September 8th.
To request GATE testing for your child click HERE and complete the Parent Questionnaire/Test Consent form.
After completing and submitting the online request, you will see a screen appear that shows confirmation of your request (You will not receive a separate email. Print this screen).
Your child’s school will contact you following the Winter Break, to inform you of the exact date of GATE testing at your child’s school. Students will be excused from class for approximately one hour in order to participate in testing during the regular school day. The testing window is between Jan. 19-21, 2016.
Notifications regarding GATE testing results will be mailed to parents in April, 2016.
• Students who took the January 2015 GATE Test, and have tested no more than two times in the Poway Unified School District ARE eligible for the January 2016 GATE Test administration.
