Welcome Mesa Verde Families

As we look to a new school year we are excited for what’s to come. Please help us make 2016-2017 even better than last year!

Membership
Mesa Verde was proud to report over 1000 memberships last year! We’d like to continue this trend of support and involvement. There are three easy ways to join PTSA:

  1. Join Online - Starting today, use this personalized link to access our Online PTA registration database. LINK. Things to know about our Online Process:
    • You may pay by Paypal or Credit Card online or join online and pay in person at registration.
    • Pick up your purchased items at Registration from our “Pre Registered” Line.
    • If at any time you need a new online link, please contact our Membership VP, Nancy Lin.
  2. Join At Registration August 9th and 10th (cash, check and credit cards accepted)
  3. Download this Registration Form and bring it to the front office (cash or check only)

Support
Mesa Verde programs and activities are primarily funded by your donations. These monies come through membership donations, company match donations, and fundraisers such as our Eagle Card, the Scholastic Book Fair and PTSA Dine Out Nights. Your generosity supports programs such as:

While the serious fundraising for the purpose of purchasing much needed supplies and technology for MVMS is left to the MVMS Foundation, at the end of the year, if additional monies are left over, the PTSA donates additional funding as a “Gift To School”. Last year’s Gift to School included:

If you would like to help support our programs and activities, the easiest thing to do is complete your PTSA membership at which time you can make a donation and/or purchase an Eagle Card to support our efforts. Please contact your employer to see if your company takes part in a company match program for donations to the school.

Involvement
While programming at the Middle School level is much lower key than in elementary school, we still need a good deal of volunteer help throughout the year. By filling out the Volunteer Interest section of your membership, it allows us to notify you when we have specific volunteer needs. There’s no obligation to help, but a great way to keep informed of opportunities.

There are a few volunteer opportunities on our 2016-17 PTSA Board. Please contact our PTSA President for more information:
