You are cordially invited to attend the PUSD Middle School Orchestra Festival Concert scheduled for the 2016-17 school year. The festival concert will be held at the Poway Center for the Performing Arts located on Titan Way next to Poway High School.  What is a festival Concert?  It is a performance of orchestra students from the 7/8th grade Middle School Orchestras in PUSD and the San Diego greater area.  Two selections of music will be performed for an adjudicator who will grade and clinic the ensemble. Students performing must wear concert attire and be accompanied by an adult who remains for the duration of their scheduled performance time on stage.  Since this is an adjudicated event, please honor the judges' request to remain silent during both the performance and clinic portion while in the concert hall.  Also, no flash photography and video taping will be allowed during any portion of the festival.  The festival will be professionally video taped for educational and television production only.  Each ensemble will be allotted 30 minutes total time on stage for warm up, performance and a clinic.
